To establish native trees in Chimborazo Park that support local wildlife, expand the urban tree canopy, and provide shaded areas for park visitors.
Over the next 2-3 years and several phases, the planting will continue in the park to restore and enrich the natural environment. We will develop a long-term plan for both upper and lower Chimborazo that includes invasive removal, native plantings, and some ornamental plantings.
